Edward P. O'Brien Sr., age 74, of Chicgo, Illinois passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Marla; loving father of Tami, Patricia and Edward Jr. (Amanda) O'Brien, Marla Colleen (Richard) Davis, Jeanine and Lora (fiance Taylor Ort) O'Brien; cherished grandfather of Ron (Erica) Mark, Melissa (Ben), Michael (Nichole), Elizabeth (Joseph), Samuel (Miranda), William, Emily (Charles), Don (Cait), Lilliana, Liam, Kylah, Colton, Carys, Maryn, Lexus; and pet grandfather of Harley; the great grandfather of many.
In addition to being a loving father and grandfather, Ed loved to share his knowledge about geography, history and cars. Ed had the pleasure of traveling while enjoying his career racing cars and hitting personal records.
A memorial visitation from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM in Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453.
