Gerald D. Nichols Sr., age 79, of Tinley Park, Illinois passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Pamela nee Keeley; loving father of Gerald Jr. (Kimberly), Larry (Denise) and Christine (Jeff Francis) Nichols; cherished grandfather of Shelby, Zachary, Ethan, Samantha (Alex) Zimny, Melissa, Megan, Nick, Makayla and great grandfather of Cassidy, Emilia, Sophie, Matthew and Jackson; dear son of the late Anthony and late Edna Nichols; fond brother of the late Robert and Donald Nichols; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Mr. Nichols was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired employee of the Sprinkler Fitters union local 281.
Visitation for Gerald will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453.
