Grace S. Skinner age 86, formerly from Homewood, IL., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 26th, 2024. Born on December 9, 1935 to her parents Cornelius and Gertrude Wiersema.
Beloved sister of Anna May; Loving aunt of Diana Brooks and Frank Cullen; Adored great aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Grace was passionate about her career as a teacher for 35 years, where she touched the lives of many. She traveled the world from China to the Antarctic, she was an adventurous woman with many tales. Grace was happiest in her garden where she spent many days attending to her flowers. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
