Joanne V. Vopicka, age 90 of Inverness, IL formerly of Bridgeview, IL United States Air Force Veteran, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024.
Beloved wife to the late Harry Vopicka; loving mother of Steven Elliott, Judy Elliott, Harry J. Vopicka, Jane (Bill Rueschaw) Zemke, the late Mack Vopicka and Richard (Sue) Vopicka; cherished grandmother of 9 and proud great grandmother of 8.
Joanne was a longtime and proud member of the American Legion. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation for Joanne will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, IL. A funeral will occur on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL.
