Judith C. Galvin

Born on November 20th, 1945 in Chicago, Judith was the beloved daughter of Clarence and Katherine Holt. She grew up in Little Flower Parish and devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends.

October 16th, 1966, Judith married Ronald Galvin, and together they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. They raised three children-Michael and twins, Brian and Barbara- and enjoyed countless family gatherings, vacations, and special traditions that brought joy to their lives.

Judith is remembered for her kindness, humor, generosity, and strength. Above all, she cherished time with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband Ronald; her children Michael Galvin (Andrea) and their children Madeline and Thomas; Brian Galvin (Colleen) and their children Patrick (Devan) and great-granddaughter Hadley, Brendan, Cormac, and Quinn; and Barbara Czerwinski (John) and their children Collin, John Paul, Luke, and twins Dean and Dillon. She is also survived by her brother Jack Holt (Carol) and their children Jack Jr. and Kimberly.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at Chapel Hill, 11333 Central Avenue, Oak Lawn from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A Memorial Mass will follow on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at Our Lady of The Woods Parish,10731 W 131st Street, Orland Park, IL at 10:00am. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Judith’s life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Judith will be remembered for her unwavering love for family and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
