Lois B. Micka, age 89, passed peacefully into eternal life on July 4, 2024. Lois was born to Otto and Bernice Cervenka nee Hruska in Chicago on May 23, 1935. Lois was a long time member of the Church of the Cross Lutheran Church, participating in the Luther League, teaching Sunday school, and later serving as church secretary. Lois is preceded in death by her loving grandparents Anton and Augusta Hruska nee Swartz, her parents, and her devoted husband James, whom she married in 1961. Lois was the loving mother of Lisa Micka, proud mother-in-law of Kevin Henning, faithful companion to Oliver, and a friend to many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Lois B.
