Marilyn J. Wendt, nee Hansen, age 88, of Merrionette Park, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2020. Loving wife of 53 years to the late Raymond M. Wendt; Cherished mother to Jean Mandarino, Linda (Michael “Shorty”) Mowatt, David (Rena) Wendt, and Margaret (Dave) Heintz; Beloved gram to Thomas (Norleen) Wendt, Christina (Eric) Meyers, Kimberly (Thomas) Castillo, and Emily Pass; Great-grandma to Zoey Wendt and Elizabeth Meyers; Special grams to Steven and the late Shane Palenica. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 25th, at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S Central, Oak Lawn, where a Funeral Service will then take place on Wednesday, August 26th. In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home will adhere to the current gathering restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allow 50 or fewer guests at services.
