Robert found his great happiness in the beauty of the outdoors. Enjoying quiet days, bird watching and fishing, where he found relaxation and an appreciation for nature. Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his loving life partner, Betsy Keessen. His dear sister, Cheryl, and his brother, Bill, who will cherish his memory always. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert G. and Barbara E. Voltz.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Robert on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Chapel Hill Gardens Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Ave. Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Military honors and Chapel Service will take place at 7:00 PM.
