Verna Mae Dykstra, age 100, of Orland Park, Illinois passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Dykstra; loving mother of Judy (Martin) Hegglin; cherished grandmother of Michelle(Ira) Goldstein, Heidi (Scott) Adreon and great grandmother of Ethan, Brody, Emily and Brant; dear sister of Betty (Ray) Messmaker and Kenneth (Beth) Ferris, the late Howard (Laverne) Ferris and the late Earleen (William) Anderson; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
A privately family visitation for Verna will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Following the visitation will be an interment 12 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
