Barbara DeBoer, nee Larsen, age 96, passed away on December 15, 2025. Loving wife of 73 years to the late James W. DeBoer; Beloved mother of James (Debbie Benes) and the late Michael DeBoer; Cherished grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 4; Dear sister of Diane (the late James) Ingram. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Anne Larsen. Barbara will forever be remembered as “Grateful Barbara” and a gentle soul, living her life as a humble servant to Our Lord. She was very active in her Church and practiced Christianity ever day of her blessed life. She was loved by and will be missed by many. Memorial Service for Barbara will be at 10 AM on Saturday, December 27, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 515 S Wheaton Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187. Inurnment will be privately held at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church.
