

She was born into a large family, the 3rd youngest of 7 children. She survived all her sisters and brother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard, her parents, and siblings. She is survived by her loving children, Suzanne Paladino, Jeanne (Steve)Thomas, Judith (Ismael) Silva, and Leonard (Holly nee Moorhead) Paladino III, grandchildren, Rita, Edard, Joseph, Matthew, Paul, Sophia, Alicia, Ricardo, Tyler, and Max, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was raised in Chicago graduated from Harrison High School in Chicago, where she earned a scholarship to the Art Institute of Chicago and pursued her studies in art there. She worked as an artist for a time before devoting herself to raising her children.
She was the Picture Lady for several years at the elementary school her children attended and was part of the Elmhurst senior walking club. Beatrice had a deep interest in history and was a wonderful conversationalist. She loved to cook, had a great affection for animals and possessed a kind heart.
Family was the heart of her world and she was a constant, loving presence in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a woman of strong and faithful belief. She always kept God and her family at the center of her life; she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, located at 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, IL, 60181, on January 22, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. A chapel service will follow at 1:30 pm.
