Auster, age 98, beloved husband of Rosemary, nee Madda, devoted father of Mary Rose Auster-Shanesy, Sam Auster, Laura Auster, JoAnn (Dean) Bastounes and Joe (Tracy) Auster; loving grandfather of Kelsey, Nick, Estelle, Sophia, Irene, Samantha and Alexis. Clark was an icon of the wholesale produce industry for more than 80 years, first on Maxwell St. and later at South Water Market.
