I have so many memories of Aunt Delores over the years, from the visits to Grandpa's farm in Iowa when we were children in the 50s and 60s, visiting our family over the years after Richard and I moved to Illinois in the 70s, to meeting us at the train station for short visits when picking up or dropping off my mom in later years. And of course, who could forget her wonderful cookies! From my viewpoint, she was a wonderful aunt, and I observed that she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind at this time.

Dear Janet, Ken,Donna and Karl
My mom and I send our deepest condolences on the loss of your mom. Your mom was kind and gentle. She was so proud of all of you. Julie admired her for the deep conversations they held. Frannie and James loved her. We all will miss her. I remember her going down on the big slide with Julie while Grampa Clyde and I watched. Her cookies were delicious. She was an amazing seamstress. She sewed a beautiful outfit for Julie's doll.
She made beautiful table settings for Julie and also for my mom and I. I am so happy you were a grand and great grandmother to my child and grand children.
May you all find comfort from being raised by this sweet woman.
You all will continue to be in our prayers.

Dee and her daughter Jan were delightful additions to the wonderful breakfast group that I belong to. Dee was a lovely, sweet lady who's quiet ways always touched my heart. She will be truly missed. My husband Mike and I extend our condolences to Jan, Pete and the entire family.
