John Apostolakos, age 88, formerly of Addison, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Paraskevi (Tsatoumas). Loving father of Nick (Sophia) Apostolakos, Sofia (Mario) DiLorenzo, and Anthe (Tony) Conforti. Cherished Grandfather of Pari, Demi, Daniel, Marisa, Andrew, and Steven. Many nieces and nephews. John was very well known for his calm and easy going demeanor, his hard-working character, and being a devoted husband with great love for his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed being outside and the ocean.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for John that will be held Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, followed by a funeral service that will take place Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 2501 South Wolf Road, Westchester, Illinois. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
