Joyce V. Burns, 81, passed away on September 6, 2013. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry, of 58 years on June 22, 2013. Joyce was a loving mother to Michael (Elizabeth) Burns, Patricia Richard, Kathleen (Michael) McBride, and Thomas (Mary Lee) Burns; cherished grandmother to Kevin Burns, Ronald (Becky) and Michael Richard, Zachary (Laura), Ryan, Kaitlyn and Connor McBride, Christopher, Noel, Jacob, Joshua, Matthew and Grace Burns; loving sister of John “Jack” Kowatt; and a fond aunt and friend to many. A private service for immediate family is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made payable to Columbia Management for the Special Needs Trust Fund for Joshua W. Burns.
