For many years, he was a camp counselor at Lake Geneva Youth Camp and the Sunday school superintendent at Park Manor Bible Chapel in Elgin. Later, at Willow Creek Community Church, he helped found the Special Friends Ministry for people with disabilities and served faithfully with this group for many years.
On Sunday, March 2, Ken passed away at the age of 89 at St. Alexian Brothers Hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL, after a few months of declining health and at-home care.
