We were saddened to hear of Phil's passing.  I remember when he was born, which doesn't seem so long ago!  So young!  May the Shafer family be blessed with good memories and peace.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Phil's passing. We had such great times with him, memories that we won't ever forget. Phil was a great friend to us and he will be missed greatly.  Our condolences to his family. We love you Phil - Rest In Peace.

Phil was a true dear friend to Beth and I and we have many many fond memories of good times with him.  We will miss him and his sense of humor and wit. I wish him eternal peace and happiness.  We love you Phil.

Pops what can I say, I still have moments of disbelief. Even though I was most prepared for this its heartbreaking. Anytime I got myself in a jam I knew you were one phone call away. You would drop everything and come to the rescue. I hope I can be  as good of a hero as you once were.

It's a tragedy when a young life is taken.  Phil will be missed greatly by his family and friends.  He was a good and caring person with everyone he knew.  Rest in peace, Phil.  You have no sorrows any longer.  We loved you and will always remember you.

I wish you were here to see your smiling face or a strong hug from my fathers embrace. Ill miss all your jokes and your keen wit. Laughing so hard the tears wouldnt quit. Remembering the good times and relinquishing the bad. Your eternal spirit soars through me because you are forever my dad.
