Ruth I. Collins, nee Stolte, 88, formerly of Glen Ellyn, IL, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2015. Loving mother of Debra (Randolph) Roesel, Patricia (Michael) Lapointe, and Karen Vix; Beloved grandmother of Karen Ann (Gerald) Smith, Shawn (Flo) Hattendorf, Kenneth “J” Lawson, Jonathan Benditz, and Kelly (Stephen) Poulos; Great-grandmother of Cynthia Hattendorf and Shawn Lessard. Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Collins Jr., and daughter, Kathleen Saunders. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend to all. Visitation is on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, up until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m., also at the Funeral Home. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
