Tessie J. Sigalos, (nee Prempas), a long-time resident of Westchester, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the age of 93. She was the beloved daughter of the late John and Georgia (nee Stavrou) Prempas of Chicago; Beloved wife of the late William G. Sigalos; Adored mother of Cindy (William) O’Connor; Grandmother of Valerie (Thomas) Strickland and Laurelle (Joshua) Scheib.; Cherished great-grandmother of Jaxson Joel Strickland; Loving sister of Mary (the late Gus) Kutrumanes, Louis J. Prempas, and Bess (Martin) Gabriel; Dear aunt of many nephews and nieces; Loving sister-in-law of Peter (the late Stella) Sigalos, the late James (Elsie) Sigalos and the late Mary and James Panagakis. Tessie was an exceptionally kind and gentle woman, and will be remembered as everyone’s Grandma. Visitation will be on Friday, April 21 from 3-8PM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home (630.941.5860). Her Funeral will be Saturday, April 22 at 9AM at the Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church (708.562.2744) located at 2501 South Wolf Road in Westchester, IL. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
