Wayne W. Weber

Wayne W. Weber, of Elmhurst, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital from complications of Pneumonia. He was 88. He was born on May 27, 1933 in Chicago, IL, and was one of 11 siblings. He had attended Steinmetz High School and Columbia College of Chicago, in the School of Broadcasting. In 1959 he married Yvonne, who was the love of his life. Together they had 2 children, Christopher and Desanie (Gawne). Wayne worked as the Director of Business Management Information Systems at CBS Television (WBBM-TV) in Chicago. Wayne was predeceased by his wife, Yvonne. He is survived by his brother, Ron (Marlene); brother-in-law and sister-in-law Don and Mary Milinkovich; his son, Christopher (Kristen); and his daughter, Desanie (Michael). He is also survived by grandchildren Zachary (Rachel); Austin (Megan); Ian (Kendall); Mackensey; Aidan; and Parker; and great-granddaughter, Raelynn – to all of whom he was affectionately known as “Deda”. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Wayne’s name to an Alzheimer’s research fund of the donor’s choosing. Funeral Service and Entombment will be at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home and Cemetery, however the services are respectfully requested to be for immediate family only in light of the current spike of CoViD-19.
