A public viewing C.P. Bannon for Darwin will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A celebration of life c.p. bannon will occur Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
Darwin Earl Richards, was born on September 12, 1949 in Oakland California. To his loving parents Jessie Richards and Annie Lee Strickland Richards. Excited to have their first son within the already large family of daughters he was the fifth child.
Darwin E. Richards started his education in Oakland, at Willow Manor Elementary School, Havenscourt Junior High School and graduated from Castlemont High School. He then went on to continue his education by attending Merritt College receiving is Associate Science Degree in Electronics. He then went on to advance his education at San Jose State University, receiving he Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering and then went on to receive his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree of Santa Clara University.
Darwin leaves to celebrate his legacy and cherish his precious memories with his surviving three sisters, Annette Dunn, Ester Dixon and Beverly Gray, children Morenike Aisha Richards, Imani Ayana Richards, Tarik Cyprian Richards and Cemal Atuan Richards; grandchildren, Aaliyah K. Fitzwater, Xian A. Fitzwater and Shayia M. Fitzwater, and several wonderful nieces, nephews, family and friends
