Arnie, as he was affectionately known, was born on June 10, 1947 in Morehead City, North Carolina and raised by Lottie Davis in Davis, North Carolina. He was a proud U. S. Navy veteran and worked in the transportation industry. He loved spending time with family or friends at a cookout, or a day on the boat. His pastime was spoiling his dogs like they were furry children.
Arnie is survived by his son Jonathan Davis, daughter Christina Davis-Cohen and son-in-law Lance Cohen; grandchildren Nicolas Cohen and Elizabeth Cohen.
A visitation for Arnie will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 10am to 12pm and the funeral service will commence at 12pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 5740 South Pine Ave, Ocala, Florida 34480.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ASPCA in Arnold’s name.
