

Arthur L. Frenier, 85 of Ocala, FL. Arthur was called to eternal rest by the Lord on March 18, 2010. Mr. Frenier was born on October 5, 1924 in Northampton, MA. to Arthur Frenier and Rose Brazeau. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy Seabees. Arthur was a civilian firefighter for the U.S. Navy for 13 years and served 22 years as a police officer for the city of Northampton, MA. He retired as a lieutenant in 1986. After moving to Florida in 1990, he worked as a security officer. His last place of employment was the Appleton Museum which he left in 2007. Arthur was a life member of the V.F.W., Post #8006 and the Navy Seabee Veterans of America. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and an active member of St. Joseph of the Forest Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife: Lorraine Frenier; Children: Paul (Diane) Frenier of Springfield, MA. Anne (David) Geoffrion of Easthampton, MA., Lynne Wilson of Winter Park, FL., Gregory Wilson of Brooksville, FL., Jeffrey (Milagros) Wilson of Chicago, IL., Jill (Jim) Abel of Southampton, MA.; two sisters: Phyllis Ball of Ridgecrest, CA. and Theresa Subocz of Greenfield, MA.; (8) Grandchildren; (1) Great Grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 11:30AM at St. Joseph of the Forest Catholic Church, Silver Springs, FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the charity of one’s choice in Arthur’s loving memory.
