

Age 63, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away April 5, 2026 at his home located in Summerfield. Born December 16, 1962 in Hollywood Florida, to Charles and Cecilia Craven retired from downtown underground in 2010 as a heavy equipment operator and hauler. He had many titles in his lifetime, but anyone who knew him knew that Papa was his favorite of them all. Allen loved fishing, hunting, working on things, being with his wife, kids, and grand kids, and just being outdoors. He spent lots of time with friends fabricating various things, like hog traps, hunt stands, ect. He spent his days being the best husband, father, grandfather and friend, and has never met a stranger; he could carry on a conversation with anybody and would always be first in line to lend a helping hand. He Often referred to it as “building his staircase to heaven” when asked why he did so much for others. Allen was a beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, nephew, uncle, brother, and friend. He was a born and bread, Florida boy who spent his life becoming a jack of all trades. He won the hearts of those who knew him and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Peg Gray, Daughter‘s Michelle Driggers, (Pat) Laura Crain (Wesley) his bonus kids, Kailee, Krystopher, and Kevin Sheehan and Melanie Gray, brother Joe Craven, two granddaughters Shawnnah and AmiLee, and four grandsons Gator, Tucker, Ryder, and Hunter and more friends than we could ever list. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his cousin Patrick (PC) Craven, his sister Kandi Lavoie, and grandson Wyatt.
A service will be held on Saturday, April 25th at 12:00 PM, with a reception to follow.
The service will take place at Belleview United Methodist Church, located at 5640 SE Brown Road, Belleview, Florida 34420.
