Dennis Joseph Dupre, age 72, of Summerfield, Florida passed away on March 1, 2024 in Ocala, Florida. He was born on May 25, 1951 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Leslie Louis and Adalaide Marie (Haydel) Dupre.
Dennis was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a retired lifeboat technician who built, serviced and repaired the vessels all around the globe.
Dennis moved to the Ocala area in 2015 from Louisiana to be close to family. Dennis was a member of the IPMS Ocala Modelers club, enjoyed tinkering with cars, listening to music, as well as curating vast collections of coins, geodes and popular culture artifacts.
Survivors include his two children, Adam (Michelle) Dupre and Aimee (Paul) Sperandeo; brother, Arvid Dupre and three grandchildren, Aubree, Andrew Sperandeo and Adelyn Sperandeo.
