Dorothy Bell Middleton

March 4, 1932 – December 19, 2025

Dorothy Bell Middleton, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on March 4, 1932, Dorothy lived a life filled with love, creativity, and generosity.

She is survived by her children: Jim (James) McCray and his wife Lori and Joni Couturier. Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter Jeri White (February 2017). Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Jimmy Baldwin (Jenny), Andrea Salga (Darin), Shawn Smith, Natasha Jones, Michele Galloway, Jeremy St. Clair (Sandra), and David McCray (Cory). She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Alshia Greenacre (November 2007). Dorothy was blessed with 13 living great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Dorothy’s passions included color pencil art, reading, attending craft shows, listening to music, crocheting, beadwork, and flower gardening. She found joy in creating beauty and sharing kindness, often making donations to charitable causes close to her heart.

Her family and friends will remember her for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering love. Dorothy’s life was a testament to the power of family and the beauty of simple pleasures.

Visitation and Funeral Services

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memory Gardens 5740 S Pine Ave, Ocala, Fl 34480, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Subsequently, a graveside service will take place at 2:00 PM.
