Elizabeth Jean Craddock, age 85, of Ocala, died Saturday November 26, 2011 at Munroe Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 22, 1926 in Shelbyville, Kentucky a daughter to the late Walter and Estelle (Williams) McConnell. She was retired from the John Sexton and Company and her family remembers her volunteer work for Brother’s Keepers, making gifts for the shut ins at her church and playing bridge. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a son Robert Brill of Ocala, daughter and son-in-law Janet and Sherman Calkins of Ft. Myers, and grandchildren Lauren Ashley Mills in South Carolina and Brittany Jo Brakefield in Tampa. A funeral service has been scheduled for Tuesday November 29, 2011 at 12:00pm with visitation for one hour before at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family suggests donations to the Florida Baptist Children’s Home in Lakeland. Arrangements have been entrusted to Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
