Enrique “Tata” A. Cuevas, age 87, of Ocklawaha, passed away May 7, 2014 at the Tuscany Hospice House. He was born on July 15, 1926 in Lares, Puerto Rico a son to the late Florencio and Maria Cuevas. He was of the catholic faith. Family and friends fondly remember his love of gardening especially the grapefruits and oranges that he gave out to everyone he knew. He was a very giving person. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 60 years Aida Luz Cuevas, four daughters Maria and her husband Kevin Aita of Rockaway, NY, Laura Cuevas in New Jersey, Blanca and her husband Patrick Cunningham of Ocala, FL, Roxana and her husband Francis Rivera in Wichita, TX, a brother Bernardo Cuevas, two sisters Theresa Ward, Isabelle Rodriguez, and six grandchildren Sharizma, Edward, Thomas Andrew, Frankie Jr., Samantha and Nickolas. The family suggests donation to Hospice of Marion County in lieu of flowers. Forest Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
