

Glenda Gean Watkins, 74, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2025. She was born on January 7, 1951, in Milan, Tennessee, to the late Mabel Avent Bryant and the late Bobby Bryant of Bolivar, Tennessee.
Glenda spent most of her life in Hardeman County, Tennessee, where she attended Bolivar Central High School.
In 2007, she and her husband moved to Florida, where Glenda worked in sales as a team leader in the jewelry department at Kmart. She remained with the company until its closing in 2018 and continued working in remote sales until early 2025.
On October 5, 1968, Glenda married Jack Thomas Watkins, with whom she shared 57 loving years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Glenda had a passion for her family and enjoyed traveling, reading, and experimenting with new recipes. Her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor brought joy to all who knew her.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Mabel Bryant; her brothers, Bobby Bryant Jr., Joe Bryant, Terry Bryant, and Ronnie Bryant; her sister, Judy Bryant; and her sister-in-laws, Della Bryant and Lisa Bryant.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jack Watkins; children Jack Watkins Jr. (Crystal), Dana Sutton (Rick), Kim Davis (Jeff), and a foster son Rocco Mazzoccoli; grandchildren Ethan, Hayley, Allie, Nicholas, Matthew, Tripp, Anna Beth, Asher, Phillip, Kamryn, Lia, Mia, Rocco, and Sophia; great grandchildren Jackson, Zaden, and Adalyn; and brother John Bryant (Ruth Ann).
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Summerfield, located at 14550 SE 65th Court, Summerfield, Florida 34491. The Committal will be from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens 1901 County Rd 25A, Leesburg, FL 34748.
Glenda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will continue to live on through those whose lives she touched.
