Joseph Doyle Cunningham, 90, went to Heaven on January 23, 2025. He was born on December 11, 1934. Joseph married JoAnn Hodgson on May 9, 1953 and worked at the local Malt Shop in Downtown Ocala and as a butcher before starting a family. On August 9, 1957 Joseph was drafted into the army as a combat medic. He was discharged in 1961. He is survived by two daughters Karen (Cory) Lentz and Jeanie Cunningham, two granddaughters; Amanda (Mark) Pfeifer and Emily Newsom and one grandson; Grant Lentz, along with five great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents Thomas and Myrtle Cunningham, brothers; Odell and Glenn Cunningham, and sister; Lois Darden. A visitation for Joseph will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34480. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00PM, 5740 South Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34480. A committal service will occur Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 5740 South Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34480.
