Lawrence F. "Larry" Gregory, age 85, of Ocala, passed away April 9, 2012 at the Legacy Hospice House. He was born in Bradenton, FL on October 12, 1926 a son to the late Charles and Louise (Chapman) Gregory. He was a veteran of the US Navy , a lifetime member of the VFW and was retired from GE after 25 years of service. He attended the University of Florida. Larry enjoyed boating and was the past treasurer of the Cutler Cove Power Squadron in Miami. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 35 years Marie, a sister Shirley McBride in Virginia, three nieces, Patricia Hester of Winchester, VA, Deborah Reed of Staunton, VA, Linda McBride of Georgia and two loving kitties Smokey and Faith. A visitation has been scheduled for Thursday April 12, 2012 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha,FL on Friday April 13, 2012 at 11:00am with military honors.
