Lois Ann Connelly

Lois Ann (Sharp) Connelly went home to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully at 4:30 am on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and caring that touched the lives of countless people. She will be remembered as a loving, caring person who could not do enough to help those she knew and loved.

Lois was born May 31, 1943 in Rahway, NJ as the middle child to the late George and Mary Sharp and was raised in Kenilworth, NJ. She had two brothers; John (deceased), the older and Donald, the younger. Lois stayed at home caring for her parents until later in life she married Robert (Bob) Connelly (deceased). She was a devoted wife to Bob and they were together for over 30 years having lived in Kenilworth, NJ and Renaissance Village in Manchester, New Jersey before moving in 2004 to SummerGlen Golf Club, an active 55+ retirement community in Ocala, FL.

Lois attended elementary school in Kenilworth, NJ, and high school at Johnson Regional High School in Clark, NJ. She was a volunteer counselor at a non-profit summer camp for disadvantaged young girls during her high school years. After graduation, she went to work for the Allstate Insurance Company and was employed in various underwriting functions for about 25 years. She was very involved in the fellowship at her church, Ocala Bible Chapel, in Ocala, FL.

Lois leaves behind her brother, Donald (Kathie), Altoona, FL, and nieces, Lynnea Sharp, Nashville, TN, Kelly Sharp (Rodney Ebright), Penrose, CO and Tracie Davis, Falls Church, VA.
