

Luigi Mastroserio, 84, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on March 25, 2026.
Early Life and Career
Luigi was born on August 28, 1941, in Grumo Appula, Bari, Italy, to his parents, Pietro
and Lucrezia Mastroserio. He carried the traditions and values of his Italian heritage
with him throughout his life. A master of his craft, Luigi was a highly skilled auto
mechanic specializing in European cars. He was well-known for his expertise and
passion for high-performance cars, including Ferrari and Lamborghini. Luigi was a
proud business owner, having owned and operated his own mechanic shops in both
New York and Ocala, where he served his community with dedication for many years.
Marriage and Family
On April 26, 1970, Luigi was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Maria Civitano.
Together, they shared 55 years of devotion, building a life defined by family, faith, and
hard work. Luigi was a proud and devoted father to his three children: Pietro
Mastroserio and his wife Cathy, Paolo Mastroserio and his wife Paola, and Lucrezia
Boehmer and her partner Mike Handschin. His greatest joy was his grandchildren, and
his legacy continues through Alyssa, Jordan, Austin, Julia, Gianni, Mia, Luca, and Alessandra.
Family and Legacy
He is survived by his loving brother, Michele, and his sisters, Teresa, Anna, Giovanna,
and Isabella. Luigi was preceded in death by his parents, Pietro and Lucrezia, and his
dear brother, Rocco, with whom he is now reunited.
