Mavis E. Miller, age 80, of Ocala passed away August 6, 2012. She was born on November 6, 1931 in Sheffield, Westmoreland, Jamaica, West Indies. She was of the Anglican faith. Survivors include a daughter Pauline James, cousins, Avery Pearce, Joan Hylton, Ethel Royce, and numerous friends and relatives. A visitation has been scheduled for Friday August 10, 2012 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday August 11, 2012 at 2:00pm also in the funeral home with the Rev. Grover Tyrone Reddie officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn memory Gardens.
