Nancy M. Teixeira, 54, of Summerfield, FL passed away in the Villages, FL on Saturday, December 20, 2014. She was born in Hialeah, FL and moved to this area in 2005. Nancy loved dancing, singing, music and could watch the butterflies and birds for hours. Nancy loved the ocean, the beach and collecting shells. Many wonderful memories were made there. She often made arts and crafts to give to her loved ones. Nancy was preceded in death by her loving and devoted parents Edward and Pauline Teixeira and her sister Denise VanEtten. She is survived by her sister, Deborah Barker and husband James, brother, Edward Teixeira and his wife, nephews, John and Jason VanEtten, and her bird, Whitney. There are many friends and family members who will miss Nancy’s beautiful spirit. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 pm with family to accept friends one hour prior at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 S Pine Ave, Ocala FL 34480.
