Richard M. Aimone

Richard was a United States Navy veteran and a member of the V.F.W. He served during the Korean War and was stationed at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Morocco as a member of the Seabees. Richard was the owner of a successful Industrial Refrigeration and Environmental Chamber Company. He was a private pilot, avid golfer and a New Jersey Devils fan. Above all he was devoted to his family.

Richard was Catholic by Faith and a former member of the Knight of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Esther Aimone and his sister and brother-in-law, Carole Sheehan (John).

Richard is survived by his wife, Shirley Barattucci and affectionately known as "Uncle " by his three nieces and nephew; Virginia Cassidy (Glenn), Ann Marie Duffy (George), John Sheehan (Faith) and Melissa Ryan (Bill) and his five great nieces and nephews: Matthew and Jack Sheehan, Shane Cassidy, Lauren Duffy and Virginia Ryan.

A funeral service for Richard will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34480. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 1:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 Southwest 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513 with Military Honors.
