

Ronald was a General Building and plastering Contractor in Iowa, and served in the National Guard for 7 years. After retiring, he moved to Dunnellon FL in 1997. Ronald volunteered at Rainbow Springs State Park for many years, working on the construction crew. He was also a member of the Friends of Rainbow Springs.
Ronald raised and showed Quarter Horses and enjoyed model trains as a hobby. He also enjoyed watching john Wayne westerns, buying new cars and trucks, and traveling.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Dau, who he was with for 70 years; his children Deborah A (Kenneth) Moses, Douglas A (Lydia) Dau, and Ronda L (Rodney) Meier; four grandchildren, Christina Peoples, Nicole Dau, Christopher (Ashley) Dau, and Derek Dau; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Dau, Grace Dau, Nathan Peoples Jr., and Samantha Peoples; one great, great grandson and two nieces, Staci and Kelli.
in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lillian june Dau, and his brother, Donald G. Dau.
Services will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala FL, with burial directly following at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 beginning at 11:00 AM.
