

Born in New York on January 11, 1945, William lived a life marked by dedication, intellect, and a deep appreciation for the things he loved. He pursued higher education at Fordham University, where he earned his law degree, beginning a distinguished career in the legal profession.
William went on to serve as a Judge for the State of New York, a role in which he demonstrated integrity, fairness, and a strong commitment to justice. His career in law reflected his thoughtful nature and dedication to serving his community.
He was married to Julie Velez, with whom he shared many meaningful years.
Outside of his professional life, William enjoyed reading and had a fondness for browsing and shopping on Amazon, a pastime that brought him simple pleasure and curiosity for new interests.
William is survived by his stepdaughter, Julie Ann Muniz; his step-grandson, Jesus Ramos; and his step-granddaughter, Alanis Ramos. He will be remembered for his wisdom, quiet humor, and the steady presence he brought to those around him.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on March 8, 2026, at Forest Lawn.
William will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
