Mama Arlene, it’s been 4 years that we are living without you and I cannot express enough how much I miss you. I miss your smile and your sense of humor…… I did not get enough time with you and can’t help feeling short changed.  I had such a fabulous time with you, whether it was out at a show, walking around Florida, or one of the many times we spent cleaning out and organizing your garage…….which never got quite finished!

I believe you are looking down at us from
 Heaven and keeping watch over us.  I believe that sometimes you are shaking your head in frustration and sometimes beaming with pride.

I love you so much and know you knew that when you left for heaven.  Thinking of you today and smiling at the memories that come to mind.

Driving to see you every Tuesday. Having coffee, talking, laughing and having lunch together.  Working on different projects every week.  Sometimes organizing your closet, sometimes cleaning out your garage freezer.  No matter what always a good time was had. Miss you so much and your quick wit.  You were so funny. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to get reconnected over these recent 10 years or so after many years long years divided by distance, etc.  Good friends and relatives are special, especially first cousins. My cousin Arlene was an impressive woman - utterly independent and always ready to live life to the fullest.  It also goes without saying that her determination to carry on despite the obvious hardship, shall be an inspiration for us all.  That's a cousins photo from 2012.
