Arthur K. Harris, 95, of Rumson, died Monday, June 25, 2012, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Arthur, an avid bridge player, was a geophysicist at Camp Evans in Belmar for many years before retiring.
He was predeceased by his wife, Miriam, in 2005. He is survived by his daughter, Annette Ashin of Auburndale, MA; his two sons, Bob Harris of North Garden, VA and Elliot Harris of Lakewood, CO; five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services are 12 noon Wednesday, June 27 at Monmouth Reform Temple, 332 Hance Road, Tinton Falls, with interment to follow at Temple Beth El Cemetery, Neptune. Donations in his memory can be made to either, Monmouth Reform Temple, Tinton Falls, NJ or Monmouth Civic Chorus, Red Bank, NJ or Monmouth Conservatory of Music Red Bank, NJ. Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean Twp., is in charge of arrangements.
