Barbara was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend to all who knew her.
Barbara enjoyed traveling, playing canasta and mahJong. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Barbara was a retired preschool teacher at the NYC DOE and involved in many charitable organizations.
Her funeral will be on Monday June 17th at 11am at Beth Israel Cemetery Chapel, located at 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Martin, in 2017. She is survived by her daughter Hillary, son in law Joel, grandson Levi, brother Robert, sister in law Heidi and many nieces and nephews.
Shiva will be observed Monday & Tuesday 1pm-5pm and 6:30pm- 9pm at Barbara's home in Toms River, NJ.
Shiva will be observed Thursday from 3pm-8pm at Hillarys home in Riverdale, NY.
