

Born in Long Branch, N.J. to Moe and Sophie Gordon, she grew up in Red Bank, graduated from Red Bank High School in 1941 and remained living at her family’s Red Bank home for her lifetime. Professionally, she was a secretary at Fort Monmouth for over 40 years until her retirement in 1983.
Throughout her life, she cherished spending time with her family and friends, traveling within the United States and internationally and spending summer days at the New Jersey shore most recently Sea Bright. She was a long-time member of Congregation B’nai Israel in Rumson, and in her retirement, she enjoyed participating in the synagogue’s Ezra group and volunteering at Lunch Break in Red Bank.
She is survived by her loving nieces, nephews, many grand-nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mildred Levitan, Arthur Gordon and her twin sister, Selma Krosnick.
Funeral arrangements are private under the direction of Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Donations in her memory can be made to Congregation B’nai Israel in Rumson or Lunch Break in Red Bank.
