

Charles Martin Adler, 74, of Wayside passed away at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, on October 13th, 2014. He was born and raised in Newark, moved to West Long Branch to raise his family, and moved to Rolling Meadows in Wayside 9 years ago.
Charlie graduated from Rutgers College of Pharmacy with a bachelor’s degree in Science. He was honorably discharged from the Army Reserves. He and his wife Paula were the proud owners of Adler’s Pharmacy and served the community of Oakhurst for 30 years. Charlie was also a nursing home consultant and a diabetic management specialist. He was an avid sports fan but especially loved the NY Giants and the Yankees. He was a loving husband and father and especially adored his four granddaughters and cherished the time he spent with them.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 45 years, Paula, of Wayside, two sons; Michael and his wife Daniella, of Marlboro, and Eric and his wife Caryn, of Holmdel, and four granddaughters, Bailey, Summer, Rachel, and Savannah.
A chapel service will be 1pm on October 14th, 2014 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to a charity of your choice. Bloomfieldcooperocean.com.
