Miss you, Love you Gail. 

Gail, you and Rob came to our home to dinner for the first time some 25 years ago. Rob and my late husband Richard were cousins who hadn’t seen each other for many years. Neither we nor you knew quite what to expect, but your warmth and humor then and throughout the coming years, soon sealed you both in our hearts as treasured additions to the Eckstein family. So many cherished memories will be with me always. Rest in peaceful sleep dear friend. I hope you and Dick have a word!

Gail & I had the same birthdate so we would celebrate it together every year.  Sometimes we went out for a fun lunch or breakfast, like here where we are enjoying ourselves at the Kitchen Witch in Monmouth Beach.  Sometimes we did the VNA house tours; and sometimes we just hung out together.  No matter what we did, we loved celebrating together.  XOXO Jody Sackett

Since we were 11, you were always a big part of my life. You were the friend I could count on for a new adventure, a supportive ear, a good laugh, and an informed opinion. Gail didn't talk much about her career.  When she was with friends, she was so relaxed and seemed so casual.  But she was an amazing talented and accomplished person.  Here are some clips from her resume on LinkedIn.

Gail Eckstein Associates.  Under her direction, clients served include: The Hershey Company – 15 Years, Millercoors -10 Years, Baccio, Cadbury USA, BC-USA, Alouette Cheese, Aetna Healthcare and Heineken Beer.

Nabisco, Director, Advertising Production Group (APG)..  Managed all stages of production on 30 commercials/content annually with a non-working budget of $28M. 

Wells Rich Greene Advertising.  Senior Producer.  Produced television commercials for agency clients including P&G, Oil of Olay, Canada Dry.  Recommended directorial talent, supervised casting, set / location design, shoot, editing and all post production.

Saatchi & Saatchi.  Producer.  Produced television commercials for agency clients including P&G and New York Life Insurance Company.

Ulick/Mayo Productions.  Researched, bidding and booked productions for three director production company. Scheduled film crews, equipment and technically helped manage the production of television commercials.

Doyle, Dane & Bernbach Advertising.  Assistant Producer.  Began advertising career working in an amazing agency where talented role models and solid mentoring provided a strong advertising foundation.
