Gerald A Rosenfeld

He was born in Hungary, and along with his parents and brothers, stayed one step ahead of the Nazis, living in Switzerland, France, Morocco, and England before emigrating to the US at the age of 19. He was a graduate of City College of New York and Tufts University Dental School, and served as a captain in the US Army.

Jerry was a deeply respected and cherished dentist, with his office first in Asbury Park then in Wanamassa. He practiced dentistry into his 80s and was beloved by his patients and fellow dentists due to his meticulous attention to detail and uncompromising commitment to excellence. Jerry hosted a Talmud class at his home for over 50 years, consistent with his love for, and appreciation of, his Jewish heritage.

Jerry is survived by his wife Ruth (Banker), children Ginni, Aaron (Judy), and David (Sara), grandchildren Ellie, Daniel, Evan, Ezra, Linda, and Michael, and many dear friends and family members.
