She is survived by her four children; Barry, Louis, Mark & Stephanie, 5 grandchildren; Ariel, Danielle, Gabrielle, Zack & Siena. She is predeceased by her husband Leon, brother Irving, and parents Edward and Rose Stern.
Janet was an Art teacher for 28 years at the Ocean Township Intermediate School and volunteered to teach Art Classes for Seniors, SCAT, during her retirement. She had a passion for Family, Children, Teaching, Volunteering, Animals, Culinary Arts, Travel and furthering her Education.
Funeral Services will be at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ on Sunday, February 23, at 12:15pm. Shiva will be on Sunday & Monday evening, Feb 23 & 24 from 5-8pm at 150 Idlewood Ave, Oakhurst, NJ 07755.
