Joyce Lorraine Silverman

Joyce Lorraine Feinman Silverman age 91, Allentown, NJ died on December 7, 2025. The daughter of Minnie Lewis-Feinman and David Feinman, she was born, raised and educated in New York City. After her marriage to Gerald Silverman in 1956, they resided in Red Bank, NJ and then in Tinton Falls, NJ for many years. Upon her retirement in 2006, Joyce relocated to Allentown, NJ.

Joyce’s career included employment at NBC, New York City, Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, NJ, as well as the Asbury Park Press/Newsroom, Neptune, NJ. The family was affiliated with Monmouth Reform Temple in Tinton Falls for over 40 years.

Gerald, her husband of 40 years died in 1996. Surviving are daughter, Debra (David) Lange; son Robert (Rhonda) Silverman; and seven grandchildren, Andrew Hueston, Eric Silverman, Jake Silverman, twins, Julia and Hannah Silverman and twins, Rachel and Gabrielle Lange.

Graveside Services will be on Wednesday, December 10, @ 11:00 AM at Toms River Jewish Cemetery

Funeral arrangements are provided by Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, Friends and family are invited to the Shiva observance on Thursday, December 11, at the home of Robert and Rhonda Silverman, in Red Bank, NJ
