Born in Newark, NJ she resided in Irvington and Elizabeth before settling in Brick many years ago.
Judith loved to volunteer in her later years and spent much of her time at the ARC of Ocean as well as the Children's Specialized Hospital in Toms River. She was also involved in the Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey.
She was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 1999; and by her parents, Ura and Sidney Peckerman.
Surviving is her daughter, Heather Barnfield and her husband Dale; 2 grandchildren: Dylan and Rachel; 2 sisters: Beverly Gilman and Susan Hodes; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday at 11:30am at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin under the direction of Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 2130 Highway 35, Ocean. Interment will immediately follow.
