25 agosto , 1932 – 30 mayo , 2021
Saundra Arlene Drazin, age 88, of Monmouth Beach, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021. She was born August 25, 1932 in Bradley Beach, New Jersey to Jack and Rose Levin.
Saundra graduated from Asbury Park High School and received an associates degree from the University of Miami. Sandy was a true "shore girl" her entire life. She loved living at the beach. Sandy had a special love for gardening, eating out, broadway shows, playing cards, backgammon, mahjong and watching "Wheel of Fortune". Most of all, she loved her family and friends. Her favorite vacations were visiting her son Tom in Hawaii and daughter Heidi in California.
Saundra was a loving mother, grand mother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, spouse and friend. She was fortunate to fulfill her dream of seeing the birth of her great grand daughter Rosie - which touched her deeply.
Mrs. Drazin was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert of 25 years in February 1980; and her partner Milton Lewis of 17 years in February 2003.
Saundra is survived by her son Mr. Richard Drazin; daughter Mrs. Heidi Andrews and her husband Chris; son Dr. Thomas Drazin; granddaughter Mrs. Emily Reisman and her husband Brian; great-granddaughter Rosie Reisman; Milton's daughter Wendy Lewis; Milton's son Jordan Lewis; as well as many nieces and nephews, each and all whom she loved dearly and were incredibly special to her.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Beth El Cemetery, 3351 Route 33, Neptune Township, New Jersey 07753. A luncheon to celebrate Sandy's life will be held following the services.

So many memories of Aunt Sandy from when I was a child and as an adult. Most important the strong bond she and her sister had and how that love will be carried down through the generations. My love and connection to her daughter Heidi, and my siblings, has carried through to my daughter Kyra and Heidi’s daughter Emily and knowing that the bond will continue through their children is so heartwarming. Even though I am happy that Sandy and my mother are together again, I can’t help but wonder who will send the family birthday and anniversary cards every year without fail? Maybe there is a post office in heaven?

My fond memories of both Sandy and Milton are from Heidi's law school days when we would visit their pool and spa to decompress from the rigors of law school. Each member of the Drazin family has been an amazing gift in our lives and our hearts are broken and feeling your pain. We love you all and share your sorrow and will pray for all of you during this difficult time. Love, The Gurski Family... Joe, Bern, Alex and Katie xoxo

So many memories of Aunt Sandy and her family... coming to the house in Deal to visit either with my folks or by myself. Always welcomed, always made to feel at home. Everybody very down to earth and real. Uncle Bobby, Heidi, Tommy, Ricky and, of course, Aunt Sandy. Love you all. Very saddened to hear about Sandy's passing.

Deepest sympathies to Sandy’s children: Tommy, Heidi, Ricky. Sandy will always be part of the Laufer family. Sandy and my mom were the very best of friends. Sandy did many holidays with us and weekly dinners. After my Mom passed, we looked in on Sandy. We had a ball during ‘storm Sandy’ all staying together on Maplewood Avenue. I loved Sandy. I’m so sad of this news. She will be missed. ❤️
