Mrs. Miller worked for NYC Department of Social Services for more than 20 years. She was an avid mahjong and card player, and also loved to knit, especially for her grandchildren. She loved the many dogs she had throughout her life.
She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Philip in 2013. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Burke and her husband, Kevin, of Shrewsbury, NJ, her son, Jerome Miller and his wife Andrea, of Flanders, NJ, her son Steven Miller, of Lincoln Park, NJ, a sister Dorothy Kellner, and her grandchildren; Keith Miller, Matthew Burke and his wife Lauren, Melissa Burke, and great grandchild Harrison Burke
